I have her first and most recent CD’s and love them!
They’re full of pleasing, delightful music with lilting melodies, vocals, light guitar and flute to accompany with whatever fun you’re having at the moment!

This is my go-to meal here, my favorite restaurant in Reno.
Seared french foie gras, basalmic figs and cranberries, pain d’Epices, Fleur de Sel, arugula salad and a 2 ounce glass of Muscat Canelli! The toppings change … I’ve have strawberries and also grilled pineapple.
When I first ordered it, I shared it with my sister, and now I’m quite delighted to savor the pleasure of the entire dish by myself!
As always, I bask in excellent service by Tim and Heidi.
The soups are also delicious … Carol always tastes them for fine-tuning after Natalie makes them!
Soon to be opening Drunken Monkey Sushi & Tapas Lounge will be fabulous! I had the honor of basking in the beautiful space last night, sampling delicious sake and tasting the pork gyoza with a very tasty sauce that included whole cloves of roasted garlic. I was transported by the experience and am so eager for them to open!

Serratto in NW Portland has great Ciabatta bread, mussels and delicious wines by the glass to match.
I loved that my server, Michelle, let me try the wines before I chose a glass of the Spanish Albarino.
The decor is lovely with rustic chandeliers, wide plank floors & enormous ceiling beams.

This is the most amazing food I’ve had in a long time!
High-end Tuscan with the most delightful service! I had the just available in the US Jamon d’Iberico (made from pigs who eat black acorns, so it almost tasted like blue cheese!), quattro formaggio ravioli with just available shaved white truffles, and my new favorite Soter Rose Sparkling Wine from Oregon.
Our server was great about answering questions, making suggestions and had wonderful integrity about our bill, finding us outside to explain an adjustment (in our favor.)
I’ll definitely go again, as soon as I can!
Enjoy!

Love the fresh bread and delicious cheese counters!
I’m adoring the fabulous fresh bread available at the new Reno Whole Foods! What a treat it was to taste what interested me first, before deciding on the multigrain. And have the ingredients posted right in front of me!
This bread tastes amazing to me … dense, packed with seeds and grains … the perfect complement to the wonderful cheeses I then found at the cheese counter.
The wonderfully friendly, pleasant, attractive and knowledgeable woman helping me at the cheese counter was great when I told her what I was looking for and made several great suggestions for a mild breakfast pairing with the bread: Brillat Savarin Triple Cream Delin and the Le Chevrot Sevre et Belle goat cheese. Both were divinely delicious!
I’m looking forward to visiting again when I’m in Reno tomorrow! To find fresh, quality, well-cared-for products locally is a treasure.

Warm Seafood Salad
I had this delicious salad recently at the 5280 Bistro in the Four Seasons in Whistler. Lobster, scallops and prawns over lettuce with chive-parmasean dressing and a glass of prosecco. It was divine!
I also loved the seafood chowder with a glass of Laughing Stock Chardonnay from the Okinagan and as well as the assorted oysters and cheese plate.
Bask in the lovely, delightful atmosphere and fantastically courteous service as you listen to a pleasant variety of soft, soothing music.

Blue Cheese Gnocchi
“This continues to be my go-to place for the best food and service in Truckee!
I love the delicious little amuse bouche at lunch and dinner. I ordered the appetizer portion of the new to the menu blue cheese gnocchi with Point Reyes blue cheese, apple confit and toasted macadamia nuts. Very delightful with a glass of Merlot.
The music was great as always … a mix of Billie Holiday, Diana Krall and Louis Armstrong. Nicole provided me with the usual excellent, friendly and pleasant service.
And I’m a huge fan of the luxurious and comfortable booths in the bar.”
